Black Cat Historical Day Tour

Overview
Our daytime historic tour is a story of Pirates and Puritans, Witchcraft and War.  We travel around the city of Salem and share the tales of its amazing history.  From its humble beginnings as a city founded on the idea of peace for all, to the site of the largest incident of witchcraft hysteria in the modern world, learn how it became one of the biggest shipping ports in America, played host to some of the most famous authors of all time, and learn some of the biggest secrets this city has to offer!

Our daytime walking tour lasts about an hour and forty five minutes, and covers a mile's worth of the downtown area. It is an easy walk, but we suggest comfortable shoes and clothing to match the season. Our tours are unscripted, and can be customized to every group's particular areas of interest!

I was thrilled that out of the dozen tours we chose the black cat. we went on a weekday evening which was perfect becuase it was quaint without the large annoying crowds. Daniel had so much knowledge on history, ghost sightings, and historical facts. He had a real passion for the city and answered all our questions without hestistion. and because our group was small he even customized our tour to what the individuals wanted to hear about. no boring scripts with this guy! He didn't entertain with gruesome tall tales but provided historical events intertwined with real accounts of paranormal sightings. the money was well worth it for 2 hour private tour.

The Salem Black Cat tour was excellent. I highly recommend it. Daniel was a sea of knowledge. I learned quite a bit from his stories. Again check this out. You won't regret it.
