On our second visit to Asheville, NC, we decided to try to get a tour of the Forests and a bit of hiking. Tumblestone Tours proved to be a wonderful way to see the sites without the need to drive! Keith picked us up at our hotel and two other couples at theirs. He then provided a narrated tour of the Blue Ridge Parkway on our way to Looking Glass Falls where we went down to the falls for a visit. He then took us to Dupont Forest where we hiked to other falls. His interesting stories about the history of area was captivating. Keith provided snacks and drinks (water, juice) along the hikes and during the trip as well. Keith was not only an excellent tour guide but very attentive to those on the tour to make sure the pace was good for all. We'd highly recommend this tour. It's unique as we couldn't find any other like it in the area.

My husband and I wanted to have a real "outdoor experience," and we got it with Keith and his tour of three beautiful waterfalls. Keith is an experienced naturalist and great storyteller. He kept our group of 7 entertained for 5 hours. He drove us above the clouds on the Blue Ridge Parkway, then back down in the valleys to secluded trails, where we hiked to see the waterfalls. The hiking was manageable for all ages, just enough walking to say you had worked off your big Southern breakfast! Keith made sure all participants were comfortable, as the temperature was hotter than usual. He provided snacks and cold drinks for everyone, and even carried them on the hike in his own backpack. We learned a lot about the scenic beauty around us, and also about other sites in the Asheville area...Keith is a wealth of information! HE told us that there is no other tour like this available in Asheville, which makes Keith's even more special. You will be in good hands with him!

I've done a lot of traveling and seen a lot of different places, and this was definitely one of the best things I've done in my travels. First of all, the owner Keith is a very knowledgeable guide who made our day trip easy and so enjoyable. The women in my group were not necessarily "hikers" so he customized our tour, making it more "gentle" and easy for us to navigate. We were picked up at our hotel and then drove through the Blue Ridge Mountains and stopped along the way for breath taking views and photo opps. Then, we went on an easy hike and saw two gorgeous waterfalls up close. The waterfalls were just stunning. Then we took a leisurely drive back, where Keith told us some very interesting facts about the area. This trip is well worth the money and such a grand experience! I highly recommend!
