We had perfect weather for our tour. Keith, our tour guide, showed up at our hotel as expected, warmly greeted us, and introduced us to the other couples on the tour. On the way out of town, he provided history of the city and area and explained what we should expect for the rest of the tour. The scenery on the Blue Ridge Parkway was mesmerizing, I could not get over how beautiful this area is. We then headed to Pisgah National Forest, Keith pointed out different things he saw along the way, like the coon hunters and sliding rock. We then moved on to exploring the waterfalls. Keith gave instructions to keep everyone safe and checked in with us throughout the tour...there were only 6 people on our tour, so it was a nice small group. He gave us time at each falls to rest, snack, and engross in the beauty of nature. We are definitely out-of-shape and beginners to hiking, but the pace and hike was comfortable for us. Keith was a wealth of knowledge about nature and the city of Asheville and shared his passion with our tour group. He offered suggestions on other activities to do and places to eat/drink. We had a great experience!

My mother and I were visiting the Asheville area and kept reading about all of the beautiful waterfalls! We were there for a short amount of time so we wanted to maximize our time. That's when we found Tumblestone Tours. Keith was very prompt picking us up and then provided a whole history of the Blue Ridge Parkway as we drove to our first overlook to enjoy the views. The hike itself was a good distance at an easy incline with lots of waterfalls and history. It was a fantastic day! The group was a lot of fun and Keith was an expert guide.
