Boulder City Historic District Self-guided Tour from Las Vegas

Overview
You will be picked up from the Las Vegas strip and travel about 45 minutes to Historic Boulder City, “The town that built Hoover Dam.” This charming town will transport you back in time for this self-guided tour. Enjoy antique shops, famous eateries, and the Boulder Dam Motel and Museum, with free admission and some fascinating exhibits about this unique city. Created as a worker’s camp in the 1930s, Boulder City retains much of the charm and feel from the first days of its creation.

Some of the many sites and activities that you can enjoy on your own are:
*Historic Boulder Dam Hotel
*Many antique shops
*Fun cafes wtih indoor and outdoor dining
*Hoover Dam Museum (free, located inside Boulder Dam Hotel)
*Boulder Bowl, a small town bowling alley since 1947

Boulder City/Hoover Dam Museum
Explore “The town that built Hoover Dam” with a visit to the Boulder City Historic District. This self guided tour offers approximately 2 hours in Boulder City.

Enjoy shopping for antiques and collectibles at Boulder City's antique shops located within the Historic District.

Boulder City Art Guild
Experience the unique bronze statues, located throughout the Historic District of Boulder City. Some are whimsical and some are historic, but all are beautiful works of art.

Lovely quaint small town, full of bric a brac/ antique shops. Had a fabulous brunch at coffee cup cafe! Great local beer at boulder dam brewery company and watched the world go by! Our bus driver Angela was very informative and helpful.
