The Carrie B sightseeing paddlewheel tour boat is owned and operated by Harbor Tours, Inc. We have been providing scenic sightseeing boat tours and private charters since 1959. As a third-generation family-owned and operated business, we have plied the waters of Hampton Roads’ Norfolk Harbor, Virginia and the waterways of Fort Lauderdale, FL for generations of guests. Today we are pleased to offer a full-time presence in both locations.

See Yachts and Homes of the Rich and Famous and ships from around the world in Port Everglades. What To Expect

Carrie B Cruises

Join us for a 1.5 hour fully narrated sightseeing cruises of Fort Lauderdale’s yachts and homes of the rich and famous traveling on the New River, the Intracoastal Waterway, and Port Everglades.

Stranahan House

Our tour begins at our Downtown Fort Lauderdale dock which just happens to be a stone's throw away from the Stranahan House

Colee Hammock Park

We continue past homes which sold in the early 1920's for only $4,000 to $8,000 dollars. Today these homes in Rio Vista and Colee Hammock sell for multi-million dollar prices. We continue past Colee Hammock Park and head out to the widest section of the New River.

Took the cruise with a group of friends (noisy birds)!! Crew was accommodating; went by all the luxury homes & some historical ones as well - first hotel built in Ft. Lauderdale, richest home in Ft. Laud. - heard about all the exciting events that take place like Boca Bash & the SandBar party. Tour guide probably does this several times a day - it shows from his knowledge of the area & his laissez-faire attitude - stayed in the helm - did not join us on deck. A pleasant, relaxing way to enjoy an afternoon.

I went recently on a short Scenic Cruise through the River in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I am a local in South Florida but had not gone on one of these cruises for a long time. You will get to know who owns several of the Mansions in the area. This is what the cruise is mainly about. The Tour Guide points out some properties, who owns them and how much they cost. You can have snacks and Drinks on the first level. This is a two level boat. The Price is good for the food products they have. The Seats are on the second level which are partially covered so you can either get some sun and if it is too much of that sunshine then you can move to the covered place. The Price for this Tour is not bad at all. I paid about $24.95 which is good for a one and a half our tour. The only negative is that we left 7 minutes after the scheduled departure time but this is due to the heavy boat traffic by the River. Overall I had a good experience and would recommend this Boat Ride if you are looking for a quick relaxing tour of the Mansions and River in South Florida.
