The Carrie B sightseeing paddlewheel tour boat is owned and operated by Harbor Tours, Inc. We have been providing scenic sightseeing boat tours and private charters since 1959. As a third-generation family-owned and operated business, we have plied the waters of Hampton Roads’ Norfolk Harbor, Virginia and the waterways of Fort Lauderdale, FL for generations of guests. Today we are pleased to offer a full-time presence in both locations.

What To Expect

Carrie B Cruises

Join us for a 1.5 hour fully narrated sightseeing cruises of Fort Lauderdale’s yachts and homes of the rich and famous traveling on the New River, the Intracoastal Waterway, and Port Everglades.

Stranahan House

Our tour begins at our Downtown Fort Lauderdale dock which just happens to be a stone's throw away from the Stranahan House

Colee Hammock Park

We continue past homes which sold in the early 1920's for only $4,000 to $8,000 dollars. Today these homes in Rio Vista and Colee Hammock sell for multi-million dollar prices. We continue past Colee Hammock Park and head out to the widest section of the New River.

Excellent experience - they take you all around the expensive houses in Fort Lauderdale, given you history and information the entire way. The boat serves drinks and some food, and it is a very relaxing experience. I definitely recommend this to all age groups!

Or is it the top 1percent? Either way fun way to see the canals of Fort Lauderdale, the homes of the rich and not so famous and lots of giant yachts and learn some fun facts along the way from your guide.

We were in-transit on a back-to-back cruise on a Sunday, and thought we'd take a look at Ft. Lauderdale's Intercoastal waterway. The ship was beautiful and clean, obviously well cared for and loved. The trip was about 90 minutes long. We had a choice of sitting inside, closed in on the bottom level, or on top either in the sun or in a covered area. There was a snack bar on the bottom level with items like hot dogs and popcorn as well as drinks. The Intercoastal is beautiful, and the tour, which started near Las Olas, went right out toward the ocean to the area where the cruise ships were berthed, was very informative, with lots of bits about famous people and interesting quips. We were traveling with a wheelchair, and were cheerfully accommodated. This is a wonderful tour, and I recommend it highly.
