Here is a great way to see the huge mansions and yachts of the rich & famous who populate the intracoastal waterway in Fort Lauderdale. The Carrie B sightseeing tour was informative and fun, there is a snack bar with soft drinks and a cocktails. We learned much more than I could ever remember, but one of the highlights was cruising past Steven Spielberg's $200M yacht. whoa.

We took the Carrie B Cruise on Saturday, November 3rd. What a great way to see how the other half live! Multi million dollar homes and their 'boats' at the docks. The crew is very knowledgeable about the homes, etc. and we really enjoyed ourselves.

In early October, my husband, college-age daughter, and I went on the afternoon sightseeing cruise on the Carrie B. Although it had been raining earlier (and rained a lot after), the weather was fine during our cruise. We went along the canals and river of Fort Lauderdale past the many amazing (and amazingly expensive) homes. We also went to Port Everglades, the cruise ship port, where we saw the Allure of the Seas (or maybe her sister ship Oasis of the Seas) in port. It was fun, and we certainly got to see things that can only be seen from the water. The ship was clean, and the staff were friendly. I had actually tried to book a much smaller boat excursion, but it was unavailable/sold out. The Carrie B had plenty of space, and online booking was easy. I didn't rank it higher, because, while fun, it just wasn't that great. I wouldn't do it again nor would I tell you not to miss it.
