We arrived at 10.50 AM for the 11.00 AM cruise. We thought we were a bit late as the tour guide on internet says that you should arrive 20 min before scheduled time. However the boat departed after 12.00 Noon. So take your time and dont rush , these guys just dont move till they fill up the boat. They have a great boat , nice crew, good commentary, well stocked bar/snacks/pop corn, good music..... But folks please respect times .......... we have other things to do.....!!

On a very short trip to Ft Lauderdale (also my first time to visit), we wanted to do something fun for my husband & me as well as for our teenaged son. A cruise aboard the Carrie B. was perfect. We had lunch along Las Olas and then boarded the Carrie B for an afternoon cruise. I was amused & entertained & wowed by all the beautiful mansions along the waterway as well as by the accompanying commentary. My 15-year old son loved it as well, found it interesting & took a ton of pictures throughout the cruise. There are food & drink options available while cruising, and the cruise is reasonably priced. The only negative comment I can make is there was a group of heavy smoking & drinking folks who were a little obnoxious & not really too interested in the tour. But what can you do about that? It did add a little "color" to the cruise!

The cruise was great and kept the entire family interested by mentioning famous people from all generations. Nice thing to do on a not so perfect beach weather day.
