Carrie B haror tour departs at Las Olas Blvd. Advanced purcharse recommended. Great staff ready to serve you beverages and snacks on boat. Also they have a complete bar service. They have an upper deck to take great pictures from and down stairs in the lower salon it is air conditioned. It has a paddle wheel in the back of the boat. The view from the Carrie B is fantastic to see. The crew is knowledgeable about the history and home's that we pass on the way. Some days you can see s cruise ships and mega yachts docked. It is Millionaire's Row if I say it myself. Great scenery on most of the cruise route. Very relaxing as well. I will be going on the Carrie B again the next time I visit Fort Lauderdale. Fort Lauderdale is the "Venice of America" for sure.

This is an excellent way to see the homes and yachts of the rich and Famous in FLL. The cruise departs from downtown (convenient parking nearby in the Cheesecake Factory garage). Saw one multimillion dollar yacht with its helo on deck, mini-sub, and Rolls below. With yachts like this, you can only imagine the luxury homes. Carrie B made a short trip into the harbor at Port Everglades. Since it was a Saturday, Oasis of the Seas, Eurodam, and three other large cruise ships were inport. CAUTION: If you do not like crowds, avoid the 10AM sailing of the Carrie B on Saturdays and Sundays. The Land and Sea post-cruise excursion, for those with late departures from FLL, completely filled the boat. If we had not pre-purchased tickets online, it may have been too late. At any rate, arrive early if you want your pick of seats. Don't forget that wind blowing over cool water; it makes it a chilly ride - take a jacket.

The cruise lasted about 1.5 hours. Tickets are about $20 a head. It was a double decker catamaran with lots of seating. They even had a mini bar serving drinks (alcohol too), but no one on our trip got anything. There were only a handful of people on our cruise (it was an overcast Sunday @ 3). You dont see any "celebrity" houses, but you do see mansions of very wealthy people in the community, or founders of this and that. They talked over a speaker the entire time giving really good (and funny) info. I would do it again, but maybe in a few years to see what has changed.
