In addition to the stars, the myriad of protected wildlife around you, and the Comb Jelly’s bioluminescence, their “ribs” are lined with cilia that they use to propel themselves, so when you cast a flashlight on them just right, they’ll also refract a dynamic rainbow-y light show! What to bring:
Clothes you don’t mind getting a little wet. Towel (left in car)
Water Shoes – sandals or Crocs that can be worn in the water
Bring an extra change of clothes just in case
Camera & Dry bag (optional) These are fairly useless to capture bioluminescence, but great for capturing people.
Bottled water, Snacks
Any special personal paddling gear if you like
You may bring a flashlight, though we will provide a safety light.

Our tour experience was amazing! Jaden and his partner were truly the best and taught us a lot about the jellies and kept us laughing the whole way! They made my very water shy friend feel safe and she had a great time as well! When can I start??? Jk

Second time going with A Day Away and definitely not disappointed.... Their professional.. safety oriented guide Jaden was awesome.... We a few novice paddlers and it was windy... He kept control of the group and his confidence kept them calm and having fun. Did get to see comb jellies.. so mission accomplished!! They care about the environment and share their knowledge... Their care shows thru.... Thanks again for another successful trip... Always recommend you to others and will continue to do so..

We had a great time on our bioluminescence kayak tour. Our guide Jayden was great and knowledgeable. It was a perfect day. Can't wait to bring our boys back and do it again!
