What To Expect

This Brewery Tour is hosted by a Certified Cicerone, a recognized expert when it comes to beer. As your guide takes you to each brewery, you'll do more than just drink. You'll learn about the brewing process, the ingredients and the history of beer while you discover some of the best breweries Asheville has to offer. At each stop on the brewery tour, you will enjoy three to four six ounce samples of beer. It is highly recommended that you eat a substantial meal before the tour and take smaller samples if you feel like you've had enough alcohol. In between breweries, your guide will tell you about the history of Asheville and how it came to be the beautiful city it is today. Feel free to ask questions at any point during the tour. Taking a tour with exceptionally knowledgeable guide like Cliff is a great way to learn about craft brewing, the history of Asheville and sample a dozen interesting beers from three respected breweries. I highly recommend this tour if you love learning and enjoy the camaraderie of spending time with other craft beer enthusiasts. Cliff is a charming, smart and excellent host. He explains the business better than anyone I've ever listened to. He's also such a warm person in general. YOu get a lot for your money on the Brew Ed tour

The tour was very nice. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative. It was good for us because if we would have done it on our own we would have just kind of wondered around. This way we saw several breweries and tasted several different beers at each one. I would recommend it.

Cliff Mori is a great ambassador for the Ashville brewery scene. What an education we received! Highlighting Hi-wire and Catawba Breweries, he gave us a great history of beer and the brewing process, while sampling a great variety of brews. Cliff was so easy to listen to. He made a rainy dreary afternoon so much fun!
