What To Expect

BREW-ed

This Brewery Tour is hosted by a Certified Cicerone, a recognized expert when it comes to beer. As your guide takes you to each brewery, you'll do more than just drink. You'll learn about the brewing process, the ingredients and the history of beer while you discover some of the best breweries Asheville has to offer. At each stop on the brewery tour, you will enjoy three to four six ounce samples of beer. It is highly recommended that you eat a substantial meal before the tour and take smaller samples if you feel like you've had enough alcohol. In between breweries, your guide will tell you about the history of Asheville and how it came to be the beautiful city it is today. Feel free to ask questions at any point during the tour. Entertaining and educational...who knew about these brews? Our knowledgeable guide Cliff led our small group of 8 through the amber colored world of select Asheville breweries. We were encouraged to appreciate the various styles of brewed beer. Excellent tour on many levels.

Went on the Saturday morning brew tour this past Saturday. We met at 11:30 and finished around 1:30 and visited 2 breweries. We tasted maybe 8 different local beers and I learned a great deal about the beer making process and enjoyed talking to my fellow beer drinkers! Would highly recommend this tour!

Excellent tour. Great wealth of knowledge about how beer is made and what makes up the different components of beer and why different beers taste they way they do. Clearly knows the brewers at the different breweries visited and facilitated interaction with the brewers to hear their latest thoughts on the brewing process Plenty of beer to sample - come with something in your stomach!
