As my husband is interested in brewing, we took this tour during our vacation and it was the highlight of our trip! We learned a lot of interesting information and just had a really fun time overall. My husband really enjoyed learning so much about the details of the brewing process. I have to admit I personally had not much interest in beer/brewing so I was just 'going along' but turned out that I had a really great time too! It was very interesting and Cliff gave us a really fun tour. He had a lot of interesting information and stories about Asheville as we walked along which was awesome. It's a really lovely town and you'll have a great time on this tour!

My boyfriend and I cannot stop talking about the phenomenal brewery tour that we went on with Cliff. Cliff's ability to simplify beer lingo and connect with his tour guest(s) is pretty incredible. There is not another brewery tour in Asheville that is as informative or as fun as BREW-ed Brewery & History Walking Tours. Our expectations were greatly exceeded. We hope to make our way back to Asheville in the near future and will certainly plan on signing back up for the other variation of the tour so we can continue to further our beer knowledge.

My husband is a home brewer, so we visited Asheville mainly to tour the many craft brewerys in town. We chose the BREW-ed tour based on the fantastic reviews it received on tripadvisor. We also chose this tour because Cliff is a Certified Cicerone and is very knowledgeable about the brewing process. We were more than impressed with Cliff's knowledge and truly enjoyed every aspect of the tour. He explained how each brewery set up their brewing system and the type of equpment they use. He taught us how to taste beer, what flavors to look for and the differences between different types of beers along with their histories. He even shared with us a great deal of Asheville's history which was fascinating! We visited three different brewerys on this walking tour and sampled 3-4 beers at each brewery. My husband and I loved Cliff and loved this tour. I highly recommend it to everyone, whether you are a beer drinker or not!
