What To Expect
1
Kenai Fjords National Park
At the edge of the Kenai Peninsula lies a land where the ice age lingers. Nearly 40 glaciers flow from the Harding Icefield, Kenai Fjords’ crowning feature. Wildlife thrives in icy waters and lush forests around this vast expanse of ice. Native Alutiiq relied on these resources to nurture a life entwined with the sea.

The Exit Glacier Trek was an amazing experience! Our guide Ashley did a fantastic job taking good care of us the entire day, and taught us proper techniques for using the safety gear on the glacier. Walking on the glacier was such a unique and once-in-a-lifetime experience - would definitely recommend this tour for avid adventurers. We even saw a black bear with two cubs on the hike back down.

This was a fantastic trip. It was definitely strenuous but so worth the effort. Walking on the glacier was magical. We also saw a mamma bear and her cubs on the trail. Ashley our guide had a difficult job balancing moderate hikers with stronger hikers but accomplished it beautifully. Fun was had by all. I highly recommend this trip if you are healthy and fit.

Both Ashley and Fred were amazing and read the group well taking us on the tour that suited the group best not just a generic tour would totally do it again!
