Germaine's Luau

Overview

The highlight of the show is the Samoan Fire-knife dance, known as the "Tooth of Death". In the original interpretation, this dance was performed with a dangerously sharp blade.

The story behind the dance is of a Samoan chief making a movie for Hollywood many years ago. He decided to include the flaming torch in his part to make the dance more spectacular.

The show also includes the energetic Samoan Slap Dance, a traditional display of male prowess. True to the name, the dancers slap their chests, arms and legs repeatedly throughout this segment. For Samoan men, this was an opportunity to demonstrate their bravery and courage.

Wheelchair accessible - collapsible wheelchairs preferred
Most surfaces are wheelchair accessible, since we do have ramps to the Bar, the Restrooms, and the Ohana Gift Shop, and outside surfaces of the luau have harder sand
Motorized wheelchairs are allowed in most areas, however, Germaine's Luau will not be responsible for any damages to the electric mechanism for the chair due to sand, as our luau is on a private beachfront property.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

My son & I thoroughly enjoyed the luau last night. From Uncle Ben entertaining us on the bus ride there & back, to the great food,to the phenomenal show, it was well worth the money. My boy even stood up & participated in the men's dance competition. It really was a night to remember. Thank you!

The food was cooked well and had good flavor and seasoning. I definitely would go back again, my family and I enjoyed the show. The workers and dancers are very respectful and friendly, always see them helping out the elderly and younger kids.
