I stand by this review. Emily Jo was my guide and she was incredible. She knows the park inside and out. She guided me through a bison herd, grizzly territory, and opened my eyes to things about the wildlife and the park I never knew. There is so much to do in Yellowstone. You canā€™t miss the opportunity to use Yellowstone hiking tour! Donā€™t just do the tourist spots. Experience the amazing backcountry safely with an expirenced guide like Emily Jo. She will keep you safe and even packs an delicious lunch for you. Thank you Emily Jo and Yellowstone hiking group for makning my first trip to Yellowstone truly special.

My husband and I have done many guided excursions and this is by far the best. Josh, our guide, was knowledgeable, enthusiastic to share with us what he loves and knows, experienced and showed us true hospitality. ( He brought coffee to start the day and provided a great lunch!) We selected the Bunsen Peak Vista Hike. The terrain going both up and down is moderately challenging. Josh kept a very steady pace the entire hike, including a lengthy lunch rest, which took us about 6.5 hours to get from start to finish. We even went off trail for a bit to gain some extra adventure. After this we decided to soak close by in the Gardiner River, where it meets the Boiling River. Josh told us how to get there before we left for the day. Josh also gave us several other recommendations of hikes within Yellowstone, and even took the time to show us on a map. We truly had a great experience with him and the group. He imparted much knowledge upon us and made us feel safe in the back country, in bear country, the entire way. Thank you so much, we will be doing another tour with this company on our next visit! Thank you, Jaclyn and Sean

We had never visited Yellowstone and wanted to get away from the crowds to truly experience the beauty of the park. We were, however, leary of hiking ourselves. We choose the Lamar Valley hike because of the abundant wildlife in this area of the park. Zach, our guide was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and made the group feel very comfortable. Because of him, we became very confident to go off and hike ourselves. We ended up hiking over 43 miles in the seven days spent between Yellowstone and The Grand Tetons. If you want to be part of the 10% of visitors that get over 1000 yards from the road (and the crowds), I would highly recommend Yellowstone Hiking guides. Thanks Zach!
