We took the train from Williams to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. The experience was incredible from start to finish. Our original date to go was July 12, however due to illness we wouldn't be able to go. I called the station first thing in the morning to try to change our date to the 13th Linda was amazing she changed the ticket date with no issue at all. Her system was down but she had it all under control. The next day we got to the station early enough to see the little show the perform before boarding, just adorable. We boarded our train (named Bright Angel) and our train attendant was simply brilliant (Cameron). He was a joy from the beginning to the end. We were lucky enough to be in the same car round trip! The skit from the beginning of the trip continued into the end of the train ride. While this isn't and inexpensive way to travel to the Canyon it was worth every penny and it was the highlight of our trip to Williams. Everyone should have this experience when visiting the Grand Canyon

what an very cool experience - the rail crew is very professional and you enjoy a relaxed trip to the Grand Canyon! You will be entertained - you may get "robbed" - you can have a drink or two and enjoy snacks too! and you can take a nap on the way back after hiking and seeing it all! Well worth the cost and time

We took the South Rim of the Canyon train ride. The "shootout" before the ride was entertaining.. Then later the train was robbed by the same cowboys from the shootout which made for a great "train robbery". We had booked the Observation car.. Which was nice.. it also had complementary champagne on the ride back. Really enjoyed the higher up views in the observation car! And Mercedes was our hostess in our car..OMG LOVED HER! She had e best personality and was outgoing and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend especially because it was 4th of July and we're didn't have to deal with traffic and parking! GRAND CANYON. WAS INCREDIBLE!!
