Walk the glass panels on the Skywalk and take in the epic views at Guano Point and Eagle Point plus an array of other activities. Please Note: This is an admission ticket only and transportation from surrounding cities is not included.

What To Expect

Grand Canyon West

Please Note: Last ticket is sold at 4:45 p.m. from March to November and varies as days get longer or shorter going into and out of the summer. Please be aware that Arizona does not observe Daylight Saving Time. Thus, during the winter months, Grand Canyon West is on Mountain Standard Time and is a full hour ahead of California and Nevada, which are on Pacific Standard Time. When DST is being observed, beginning in March, the time at Grand Canyon West is the same as the time in Las Vegas and California.

Grand Canyon Skywalk

This 10-foot wide, horseshoe-shaped glass bridge extends 70 feet out over the rim of the Grand Canyon. Look down and you can see right through the glass platform 4,000 feet to the floor of the Canyon below. This engineering marvel offers unparalleled views of one of the world’s Seven Natural Wonders. Nervous about walking on glass almost a mile above the floor of the Grand Canyon? Have no fear—the Skywalk is strong enough to hold seventy fully loaded 747 passenger jets. After walking the Sky visit the Skywalk Gift Shop and pick up souvenirs to remember your walk and the grandeur of the Canyon.

Average Trip. We were in Vegas for a family trip and decided to drive to the Grand Canyon West since it was closer than the National Park. There were 13 people in our group and the ages ranged from 72-5 months. The first thing that bothered me was the prices. Although online it says prices may change I was expecting to see the prices posted when we arrived. The prices posted in the ticket center when we arrived were not the prices they were charging when we arrived. When I asked the ticket agent about it she said they the prices change daily. (She actually seemed bothered when I asked how much the tickets were a piece because she was just punching in numbers and I could not tell. Our group did have seniors, children and adults) It does seem as if they just randomly charge since they don’t post the “todays” price anywhere. After that happened I decided to go back and look at the reviews and noticed that several other people mentioned that. I normally read reviews so that was my fault for not knowing that. The views were amazing and you are able to jump on and off at the various stops but Some of the bus drivers were not very friendly and we did have to wait quite a while for buses. We didn’t eat the food there so I can not give input on that. Overall it was a nice visit.

8/4/22 travel beware, felt like we got suck into a tourist trap and no way out but suck it up to their mercy, cost of the ticket change without notice. (Family of 4 had to $77 each, plus tax. I think I writing is going to be deleted as this point. Travel 2hrs plus from Vegas to get to this trap, like everyone said big parking lot then go to tent to pay. Wait in line for about 3 buses (20+ minutes) then bus take you to the sky rim. We’ll hope for better as I type this while waiting for bus and in line. Again must do your own search to prepare yourself when head to this place. Happy travel and be safe

Loved every moment at Grand Canyon West - from the Skywalk experience to the Hualapai tacos. Joshua trees, scenic views, well- organized shuttles, and friendly staff made our day incredible! We drove from Las Vegas, and the beautiful geography on the drive, itself, was amazing.
