Using Viator to purchase our tickets in advance for the bus at Grand Canyon was definitely the way to go. We were able to skip the line inside and go straight to the shuttle. Having read reviews on Trip Advisor, we decided not to do the skywalk and just used the shuttle to get to Eagle Point and Guano Point. We packed our own lunch and had the best picnic spot ever at the shaded tables at Guano Point. This made for a fantastic day.

West rim - bought tickets at Chevron enroute to entrance. Personal advice was nice with no pressure Pleasant folks at the entrance and shuttle. Bus drivers were friendly. Listen for the directions to board shuttle The views were beautiful - eagle point. Dinner at restaurant ___ worth the wait for window view of skywalk. Limited menu choices but great food. Skywalk: did not disappoint and by having no personal device: attention was on the canyon view. And yes we bought the photos! Great shots! Of note there are 2 lines for the skywalk and the photo line is slower but worth the wait. Some folks in line declined going out as the fear of heights took over. We stayed for sunset at Guano Point, which was spectacular but learned there was no food service that late in the park area. Be prepared !

The views are amazing! The bus service was very convenient. I didnā€™t realize we couldnā€™t drive up to the rim but riding the bus to the two stops made it very convenient.
