Only a two hour drive from Las Vegas, Laughlin and Lake Havasu, the West Rim provides guests with an opportunity to experience the awe-inspiring canyon from many different perspectives. Walk the glass panels on the Skywalk and take in the epic views at Guano Point and Eagle Point plus an array of other activities. Please Note: This is an admission ticket only and transportation from surrounding cities is not included.

What To Expect

Grand Canyon West

Make your pwn way to the West Rim where guests are provided an opportunity to experience the awe-inspiring canyon from many different perspectives. Please Note: Last ticket is sold at 4:45 p.m. from March to November and varies as days get longer or shorter going into and out of the summer. Please be aware that Arizona does not observe Daylight Saving Time. Thus, during the winter months, Grand Canyon West is on Mountain Standard Time and is a full hour ahead of California and Nevada, which are on Pacific Standard Time. When DST is being observed, beginning in March, the time at Grand Canyon West is the same as the time in Las Vegas and California.

Grand Canyon Skywalk

This 10-foot wide, horseshoe-shaped glass bridge extends 70 feet out over the rim of the Grand Canyon. Look down and you can see right through the glass platform 4,000 feet to the floor of the Canyon below. This engineering marvel offers unparalleled views of one of the world’s Seven Natural Wonders. Nervous about walking on glass almost a mile above the floor of the Grand Canyon? Have no fear—the Skywalk is strong enough to hold seventy fully loaded 747 passenger jets. After walking the Sky visit the Skywalk Gift Shop and pick up souvenirs to remember your walk and the grandeur of the Canyon.

My wife and I with our four kids (ages 8-14) went to Grand Canyon West as a day trip from Las Vegas. To be honest, the family didn't get the full experience because I was terrified of any of us going too close to the edge of the cliff. It seemed super surreal to me that there were no guard rails and you could really just walk off the edge and basically die. It was a thrill regardless and when I wasn't panicking, the views were amazing and the experience is something I won't soon forget. Please be careful with your kids if you go. I would advise against bringing small kids unless they're somehow tethered to you because there's really nothing to stop them from running over the edge.

I bought the lunch with the ticket, we get to the first drop off 2 hour wait for food, and another 1 1/2 wait for the skywalk.. when we got to the second drop off to get lunch they were out of hotdogs? So I spent $50 dollars for 2 pops!

A hilarious waste of money. Obscenely expensive and not nearly as impressive as the actual national park. Spend the time and save the money and go to the national park, it’ll be worth it. Do not reward these scummy business practices.
