Only a two hour drive from Las Vegas, Laughlin and Lake Havasu, the West Rim provides guests with an opportunity to experience the awe-inspiring canyon from many different perspectives. Walk the glass panels on the Skywalk and take in the epic views at Guano Point and Eagle Point plus an array of other activities. Please Note: This is an admission ticket only and transportation from surrounding cities is not included.

What To Expect

Grand Canyon West

Make your pwn way to the West Rim where guests are provided an opportunity to experience the awe-inspiring canyon from many different perspectives. Please Note: Last ticket is sold at 4:45 p.m. from March to November and varies as days get longer or shorter going into and out of the summer. Please be aware that Arizona does not observe Daylight Saving Time. Thus, during the winter months, Grand Canyon West is on Mountain Standard Time and is a full hour ahead of California and Nevada, which are on Pacific Standard Time. When DST is being observed, beginning in March, the time at Grand Canyon West is the same as the time in Las Vegas and California.

Grand Canyon Skywalk

This 10-foot wide, horseshoe-shaped glass bridge extends 70 feet out over the rim of the Grand Canyon. Look down and you can see right through the glass platform 4,000 feet to the floor of the Canyon below. This engineering marvel offers unparalleled views of one of the world’s Seven Natural Wonders. Nervous about walking on glass almost a mile above the floor of the Grand Canyon? Have no fear—the Skywalk is strong enough to hold seventy fully loaded 747 passenger jets. After walking the Sky visit the Skywalk Gift Shop and pick up souvenirs to remember your walk and the grandeur of the Canyon.

It is worth the trip from Las Vegas. It provides an opportunity to see and walk over the western edge of the Grand Canyon.

A great experience for the whole family. ADA accessible, but limited views if you are. Some great memories easy to find. A lot of families so can be busy. Some areas have limited cell service. Easy to find. Could use better communication from staff or signage regarding what is open and what hours, especially during this unusual time.

The trip to the skywalk was great. I bought the ticket online so that saved quite a time for the ticket queue. Would recommend to anyone to get online ticket beforehand. Took shuttle thereafter to skywalk first. Entry to skywalk was crowded. People were not following social distancing. In skywalk, they were only letting few people in. It was fun being there. Took pictures by photographer. They were nice. Pics are expensive though. Went to Guamo point next. View wise this is way better. Then the next shuttle dropped us back to the car. All in all it was a good trip.
