Overview

Explore the National Elk Refuge, home to thousands of wintering elk, hundreds of bison, bighorn sheep and an array of bird life before venturing into Grand Teton National Park. Jackson Hole’s wintering wildlife is abundant with opportunities to see bison, elk, deer, moose, fox, coyote, bald eagle, trumpeter swans, and if we’re lucky, wolves. If time allows we might also choose to stop at the Jackson Hole Visitor Center or the new Moose visitor center in Grand Teton National Park. The route varies seasonally based on group interest, road closures and wildlife migration.

The minimum age for wildlife safaris is 8 years old. (Private safaris have no age minimum.)
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all single day wildlife safaris. Cancellations made before the cancellation policy goes into effect will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure, and before the day of departure will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations or no-shows on the day of departure will not be refunded. We strongly recommend travel insurance in order to protect you from unforeseen travel interruptions that prevent you from joining us.

Your wildlife safari may stop here. Your guide will educate you on the historical or geological significance of your stop. All stops are dependent on the road conditions, weather conditions and needs or interests of each group.

AH-mazing! If you are in the area, you have to take this tour. It is even worth waking up early in the morning. We saw moose, elk, bison and even the famous Grizzly 399 and her cubs. Our tour guide, Mackenzie, made the trip. Her knowledge of the area and wildlife was incredible, and she was so personable and funny making the trip both fun and educational. You will be amazed at what you can see and learn in 4 hours. We can't recommend enough!

The highlight of our trip to the Grand Tetons was our sunrise half day wildlife tour. We were so lucky to have Jeffrey as our guide. He asked us what we wanted to see. We said grizzly bears and moose. We saw both on our trip and so much more! Jeffrey taught us about the area and we are glad we did this our first day there. He showed us the most beautiful areas for pictures of the Tetons, wildlife, etc. Thank you Jeffrey. You made our stay in Jackson Hole so memorable.
