Overview

Explore the National Elk Refuge, home to thousands of wintering elk, hundreds of bison, bighorn sheep and an array of bird life before venturing into Grand Teton National Park. Jackson Hole’s wintering wildlife is abundant with opportunities to see bison, elk, deer, moose, fox, coyote, bald eagle, trumpeter swans, and if we’re lucky, wolves. If time allows we might also choose to stop at the Jackson Hole Visitor Center or the new Moose visitor center in Grand Teton National Park. The route varies seasonally based on group interest, road closures and wildlife migration.

The minimum age for wildlife safaris is 8 years old. (Private safaris have no age minimum.)
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all single day wildlife safaris. Cancellations made before the cancellation policy goes into effect will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure, and before the day of departure will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations or no-shows on the day of departure will not be refunded. We strongly recommend travel insurance in order to protect you from unforeseen travel interruptions that prevent you from joining us.

Your wildlife safari may stop here. Your guide will educate you on the historical or geological significance of your stop. All stops are dependent on the road conditions, weather conditions and needs or interests of each group.

We had an absolute BLAST!! Dave was our tour guide, and he was wonderful. He was so knowledgeable, kind, and made great conversation. We saw big horned sheep, bison, a bald eagle, elk, moose, trumpeter swans, and had the most beautiful views of the Tetons. We will definitely be back. Thanks, Dave! The company also took measures to ensure our safety during the pandemic, which we really appreciated!

Our guide Bryce was very knowledgeable and the information he gave us was the best part of the safari. We saw many animals but from a far distance. Even the spotting scope was too far away to really experience the animal. The scenery was beautiful though. We really enjoyed the tour but wished we could have seen the animals a little more up close.

Our Guide Bryce was great and very informative. We were able to see a bunch of Wildlife during our tour and even stopped to play in the snow for a few minutes so our 9 year old wasn't too bored LOL. Thanks for a great experience!
