Overview

Explore the National Elk Refuge, home to thousands of wintering elk, hundreds of bison, bighorn sheep and an array of bird life before venturing into Grand Teton National Park. Jackson Hole’s wintering wildlife is abundant with opportunities to see bison, elk, deer, moose, fox, coyote, bald eagle, trumpeter swans, and if we’re lucky, wolves. If time allows we might also choose to stop at the Jackson Hole Visitor Center or the new Moose visitor center in Grand Teton National Park. The route varies seasonally based on group interest, road closures and wildlife migration.

The minimum age for wildlife safaris is 8 years old. (Private safaris have no age minimum.)
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all single day wildlife safaris. Cancellations made before the cancellation policy goes into effect will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure, and before the day of departure will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations or no-shows on the day of departure will not be refunded. We strongly recommend travel insurance in order to protect you from unforeseen travel interruptions that prevent you from joining us.

Your wildlife safari may stop here. Your guide will educate you on the historical or geological significance of your stop. All stops are dependent on the road conditions, weather conditions and needs or interests of each group.

Can't stop thinking about our wonderful wildlife tour, and our fabulous guide Brett. He was incredibly nice & so knowledgeable. Always helpful with the scope, (and the step stool for mom). We saw every type of wildlife - Moose, Elk, Big Horn Sheep, Bald Eagles, Buffalo, even a Wolf! Brett was as enthusiastic as if it were his first tour. Would absolutely recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see the wild side of Jackson.

Perfect time arrangement sight to sight, incredibly knowledgable tour guide, and astonishingly beautiful natural views and livings leave us an unforgettable memory about Jackson Hole. The tour provides hotel pick up service, snacks, and binoculars to better observe the wildlife. If you're a new visitor to Jackson, this tour is 100% recommended.

The safari is a great idea for those who want to see more than just Elks. Jeffrey, our guide, was fantastic! So knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. He kept things interesting and entertaining, with fun facts about the animals, historic events in Jackson and even anecdotes in his life! Would 100% recommend booking this tour.
