A nice enjoyable outing. It was our first time kayaking but the open double-seat ocean kayak made it easy. Our guide Tristan had us going straight in no time. Nice scenic trip up the river. Hike is not too strenuous but the mud due to recent rains made it a little tricky. Muddy water made the rope swings less desirable. Pretty falls to sit and have lunch. Would recommend this for an able-bodied beginning kayaker.

Aloha Jegnm, Mahalo for the Excellent review. Treston is a great paddle instructor. Five star all the way. Thanks for the recommendation. Hope we see you again for your second time out paddling. :)

My guide Guy was great. He explained so much about the plants we passed and Hawaiian culture. He constantly watched out for all of us as we trekked through the mud. He also serenaded us by playing the ukulele as we hiked. The hidden falls was spectacular. Also the company provided a light lunch and plenty of drinks. Definitely recommend them.

We took this tour in September. It was wonderful because of our guide, Corry. He had such a wonderful knowledge of the plants. He showed us sensitive plant, coffee beans, 3-2-1 plant, and even Charmin of the jungle. The trip through the forest was our favorite part because of our guide. He also told us legends as we traveled the river. The canoe was fun, too. We were disappointed that we couldn't swing on the Indiana Jones swing, but we had fun on the other rope swing....just some advice...when you let go of the rope, hold your nose! We both got a nose full of water. Also, the paddle was not bad. My husband swears that I can't paddle with him, and he paddled the whole way himself (age 72), and we didn't fall behind the group. I hope the other guides are as great as Corry.

Aloha Pam, Mahalo for the excellent review. You're never too old to get out and play. Hope to see you again. You can decide for yourself if the other guides are as great as Cory. (They are!!!) :)
