Our guide, Elvis, was excellent. Had a great time and great conversations. I would do this again if I'm in the area.

We have used Outfitters in the past and it was fantastic. We used them last week and it was even better. Our guide Bruce was wonderful. Lots of fun, informative and very patient ! We highly recommend them, worth the money.

My friend and I had never kayaked before, but we were excited to try and this seemed like a good first time try. Our tour guide was Presley and really she was the whole reason we didn't have fun. From the start we could tell she had a sarcastic/snarky attitude. Not rude, but certainly not very friendly. We had done tours with Holo Holo, Lydgate Farms and Kauai Backcountry Adventures and their guides were outstanding. First, she totally rushed teaching us how to use and navigate the kayak. My friend and I did not feel confident at all when we got in it. Then when we started she took off far in the front. My friend and I struggled navigating the kayak for a very long time with no help. By the time Presley finally noticed we were having trouble and fallen VERY far behind, my friend and I were frustrated and very over it. Presley gave us some instruction, but she seemed to have this attitude she was annoyed she had to help us. We finally got the hang of it and were able to enjoy it more. The hike, swim and lunch were good. At one point though our guide Presley was talking to some other people in the group how people ask her all the time if she loves her job. She responded "A job is a job. It's what a do. I mean...it's a job". As someone who works in customer service, I cringed at her response. She just seemed very aloof the entire time and when people asked her questions a lot of times she just shrugged and said she had no idea. Of all the things we did on the island, this was the only experience we had that was bad. If you want to kayak, please choose somewhere else if you want to have a enjoyable time or make sure you get a different tour guide.

Aloha Ashlee, Thanks for sharing your vacation with us. We appreciate the feedback and apologize for you not having a 5 star tour. Comments and reviews help us in the training process. Please try us again next time you are on Kauai.
