Overview

A fast and fun wildlife adventure awaits your family aboard our zodiac-style vessels (rigid inflatable boats). This cruise of up to 20 passengers gives you a thrilling 2-hour look at Southern California’s year-round whales and dolphins. With speeds of 30 knots or more, you’ll spend less time looking for animals and more time enjoying them! Your zodiac adventure will have you incredibly close to the ocean’s surface and within arm’s reach of wildlife. At the conclusion of your cruise, you'll receive one of Mrs. Capt. Dave's famously delicious Triple Fudge Brownies. (Some folks love the brownies more than the whales!)

We are a certified Responsible Whale Watching partner with the World Cetacean Alliance located in Dana Point, CA, the Dolphin and Whale Capital of the World®, and the first Whale Heritage Site in the Americas.

We had an AMAZING day. Captain Marie and her first mate Caitlin were skilled, knowledgeable, and so personable. It was only because of them we were able to see 2 blue whales!! They were as excited for our experience as we were, and did everything in there power to make sure we all had an unforgettable trip. After seeing and watching 2 blue whales "play" with us, we saw a larger pod of Risso dolphins and stopped to "visit" the sea lions on the buoy. It was definitely a trip highlight. I highly recommend this adventure. Do the high speed zodiak-you won't regret it. It was super maneuverable and putnus on whales long before any other boats. Even the boat ride was fun!

I wish there were more than 5 Stars; what a bucket list kind of day! Capt Mary and Marine Biologist Caitlin we’re amazing; Mary is adept at the high speed whale chase and we got to see 2 huge noir whales, Riccos dolphins and adorable sea lions up close. Capt Daves is simply the best…4th time and we’ll return again!

Captain Christian, Hannah, Kim, & I believe Kayla were an excellent staff. This was my first time in this area & could not find the exact location. Kim had called me twice & presto! I made it. This was an excellent boat ride on the Zodiac. I believe no whales were spotted; however, we saw plenty of Common Dolphins. Tuna fish & Brown Pelicans & seagulls were also spotted on the voyage. On the topic of picture/video shooting- I was able to capture a few; yet, it is a challenge to anticipate or gauge when the dolphins would spring up in the air. If you desire to do something different in a calm & serene place- welcome aboard- this is for you!
