What To Expect
1
Kenai Fjords National Park
In Kenai Fjords National Park, over half of the landmass is covered by the enormous Harding Icefield, a thousand-foot block of ice that dates back to the last Ice Age. The Harding spills out in all directions in the form of glaciers. Some stretch northwest into rugged hills of the Kenai Peninsula. Others—five of them, to be exact—reach as far as the sea along the craggy coast of the Gulf of Alaska.
2
Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge
Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge is comprised of 2,400 islands, headlands, rocks, islets, spires and reefs and is known for its abundance of seabirds.

A fantastic cruise, we saw eagles, puffins, humpback whales, resident and transient orcas, sea lions (and pups!) harbor seals, incredible glaciers with glacial calving, all surrounded by glorious mountain views. If God had a summer home, I'm sure it would be in Seward.

Outstanding cruise tour. Our captain Emma and her crew were wonderful. She would stop for wildlife viewing. We saw puffins. Seals. Otters. Eagles. Glaciers. Goats. Orca’s. And did I mention the humpback whales!

Had such a great day! Weather was great but took some Dramamine after reading other reviews. Didn’t need it but better to be prepared. Learned a lot about the wildlife during this trip. Saw an orca pod including a baby that breeched in the water! Also saw a humpback whale and her baby. Spent time at the glacier and got to see it calve. Also got to see bald eagles and sea lions. Lunch was fresh and the warm cookies at the end was a nice touch. We sat outside on the back deck and wore lots of layers. The Captain and crew were awesome!
