Overview

Welcoming guests to Kauai since 2007, Luau Kalamaku is Hawaii's only luau show performed “in-the-round,” offering optimal views of the stage. Witness the unearthing of the pig from the traditional imu (underground oven) and enjoy a hula lesson. A craft fair featuring unique items by local artisans awaits on the sprawling lawn. Feast on a delicious buffet of local and familiar favorites and enjoy a Mai Tai from the open bar. The 45-minute main show tells the amazing story of the ancient Hawaiian legend of Kalamaku “child of the new land." Through laughter, fear, seduction and fire, a new legacy is created, born from the cherished seeds of their ancestors. The theatrical luau show culminates with a fantastic fire dream featuring fire poi balls and traditional fire knife dancing.

Excellent show. Food was good. Local artists vendors had some interesting items. Drinks were good and free.

Great show for families and friends. We were in town for a wedding and wanted to experience the Luau. It was such a great activity. Alcohol included, awesome show (fire dancing was amazing), and food was good for a huge buffet (even my picky kids found something to eat). They give all the ladies real flower lei’s and the boys shell necklaces. It was a great touch.

This is experience is A MUST! The Food is excellent and price includes open bar. You are greeted w a fresh handmade lei and there are some vendors as well who share their local arts and crafts. The actual show itself w dancers and acting snd music was liking to a New York Broadway play. You simply cannot miss this! It’s truly magnificent!
