Overview

Welcoming guests to Kauai since 2007, Luau Kalamaku is Hawaii's only luau show performed “in-the-round,” offering optimal views of the stage. Witness the unearthing of the pig from the traditional imu (underground oven) and enjoy a hula lesson. A craft fair featuring unique items by local artisans awaits on the sprawling lawn. Feast on a delicious buffet of local and familiar favorites and enjoy a Mai Tai from the open bar. The 45-minute main show tells the amazing story of the ancient Hawaiian legend of Kalamaku “child of the new land." Through laughter, fear, seduction and fire, a new legacy is created, born from the cherished seeds of their ancestors. The theatrical luau show culminates with a fantastic fire dream featuring fire poi balls and traditional fire knife dancing.

This was by far the best luau we have ever been to!! Very organized and well run- great food and a beautiful setting and show!! Beautiful dancers/performers !!

the show is fun. The dances are mostly not hula dances, which is kind of slow. I wish they could explain more on the moves And the meaning of those dance moves. It seems to be like a sign language in a dance form. The dinner isn’t very impressive. You can actually skip the dinner and arrive to check in at 7 for the show.

Be very careful booking this there are a lot of options and the emails confirmation don’t include and states show and dinner when i accidentally clicked on show only. By the time I caught the error neither Viator or the venue was willing to correct it or refund.
