Make close contact with these gentle and lovable creatures in one of the largest winter gathering sites for manatees in Florida. Observe manatees as they swim all around you with some of them curious enough to come close to your kayak. In the summer month we paddle up to the spring head where you have a chance to jump into the crystal clear spring to cool off and to explore the aquatic life living in the spring.
Our tour groups are always small. We never take more than 5 people on a tour to provide a personalized experience that prioritizes quality and safety. All of our tour guides are professionally trained with a love to share with you their knowledge, that will turn a wonderful trip into an unforgettable, inspiring adventure.

It is recommended you wear quick dry clothes and water/river shoes
We recommend you bring a swim suit, warm wool or fleece top (winter), waterproof rain jacket or poncho, sun protection (sunhat, sunglasses, sun screen), a camera, and a towel to dry off afterwards.
There is no restroom at the meeting location. The last public restroom is at Valentine Park (1511 W French Ave, Orange City, FL 32763) about a mile before you arrive the meeting location. We recommend you stop there before your tour.

We had such an amazing experience with Venture Outdoors. I can not recommend it enough! My husband and I did both the Emerald Cut tour and the Manatee experience and we enjoyed both!! Our guide Astrid was very knowledgeable. I took a Kayak lesson with Venture Outdoors to improve my skills and I hope to do more soon! Venture Outdoors has given us a new found love of Kayaking!

I have kayaked at Blue Spring with several outfitters in the past and by far my time with Astrid was the best!!!! Courteous, professional, and SO knowledgable!! I promise you that if you kayak with Venture Outdoors you can't go wrong!! She got us right up to the Manatee. One was actually pushing my kayak through the water. One of my best days!!!
