He shares his relationship with the celebrities and many space heroes who made Manteo's history so unique. This tour has been featured on PBS show "NC Weekend". We are older had a very fun experience with our group. Exceptional!!! Don’t miss this tour easy walking super funny and very knowledgeable guide. Tells a lot about whole area.Loved it!!!

Chief D'Ambra is an engaging, informative tour an encyclopedic knowledge of Manteo's (the T is silent!,) rich history. For anyone visiting the area, this tour will give you an insight to a history many of us didn't know existed. For me, as an Andy Griffith fan, the tour was a great insight into the town he lived in for most of his life and which he based his hit television show on. For anyone visiting the area, I highly recommend this tour.
