Mendenhall Glacier Lake Canoe Tour

Overview
Experience the beauty of the Alaskan wilderness on this 3.5-4 hour adventure to the Mendenhall Glacier. This adventure starts off at the cruise ship docks as an expert guide will transfer the guaranteed, small group on a narrated 30 minute journey to the West Glacier boat launch in the Tongass National Forest. Guests gear up in top quality waterproof gear and after a quick paddle lesson, will launch the canoe onto the Mendenhall Lake to start the journey. Surrounded by steep cliffs filled with Arctic terns, mountain goats, porcupines, and other wildlife; enjoy the serenity of this adventure deep into Alaska. Feel the cool brisk air coming off the glacier as the guide safely navigates the canoe to the best viewpoints of the blue crevasses and seracs on the toe of the Mendenhall Glacier. Be one of the few to step away from the crowds and get face to face with glacier. This Tour is canoeing only and DOES NOT INCLUDE hiking on a glacier.

They had all the equipment already. All you need to do is row a boat which, coupled with other people, is quite easy. They helped find one of a kind glacier spots and we're very careful.

On our first trip to Alaska we enjoyed this canoeing experience to Mendenhall glacier. We love canoeing, so this tour was perfect for us. The tour guide was on time at the meeting point and during the driving he told us many facts about Juno and also good jokes. The gear we received for the tour was excellent. Thanks for the water and snacks! The canoeing was super fun and the glacier and water fall beautiful. We recommend this tour if you like adventure, don't mind get wet or exercise a lot!

A great review of everything we aim to offer! Informative guides, amazing scenery, quality equipment/snacks, but most importantly lots of jokes (mostly dad humor)! We're grateful that you chose to join us on the lake for a day of canoeing adventure.
