Modern & More Bike Tours Palm Springs

Overview

This is a small group 2.5 hour bike tour of three architecturally & historically significant residential neighborhoods in South Palm Springs. Quiet streets, no hills, constant sunshine, & very little traffic make for a great ride for novices or expert cyclists alike. (This is not an athletic tour, fear not!)

We'll explore the neighborhoods of Deepwell Estates, Twin Palms, & Indian Canyons, making frequent stops for photos & to learn details about specific homes and architects.

NOTE: Bikes are not included. I work with a rental agency where our journey begins and ends. They do offer my guests a discount, and they have colorful cruiser bikes as well as electric pedal-assist bikes.

[ I've designed this tour for serious architecture & history fans, with academic-level information & detail. So, it may not be the most enjoyable tour for some children. ]

$90 was a lot for this tour. That's not a knock on Brennan or THIS specific tour; I think that for any non-customized, group tour, $90 is just too much. I feel like the price could have been at least 1/3 cheaper, and still be fair to all involved. The guide is an insider in the modernism community in Palm Springs, so he brings a lot of knowledge to this tour. The cycling part is very easy and leisurely- all quiet side streets. He covers the southern neighbourhoods of the city and gives both good background info as well as interesting details and bits of trivia. Very worthwhile if you re interested in midcentury modern houses.

This was super fun!! Brennan is very knowledgeable about the area and has a great sense of humor. We had a beautiful day and the biking was easy- it’s all flat!! We enjoyed every second!! Highly recommend!!!
