Modern & More Bike Tours Palm Springs

Overview

This is a small group 2.5 hour bike tour of three architecturally & historically significant residential neighborhoods in South Palm Springs. Quiet streets, no hills, constant sunshine, & very little traffic make for a great ride for novices or expert cyclists alike. (This is not an athletic tour, fear not!)

We'll explore the neighborhoods of Deepwell Estates, Twin Palms, & Indian Canyons, making frequent stops for photos & to learn details about specific homes and architects.

NOTE: Bikes are not included. I work with a rental agency where our journey begins and ends. They do offer my guests a discount, and they have colorful cruiser bikes as well as electric pedal-assist bikes.

[ I've designed this tour for serious architecture & history fans, with academic-level information & detail. So, it may not be the most enjoyable tour for some children. ]

Brennan is an amazing tour guide. He is passionate and knowledgeable…and a whole lot of fun. Great way to learn the history of Palm Springs, see some beautiful neighborhoods and get some exercise.

Brennan was a terrific guide. He was extremely interesting and informative. I was very concerned about riding 6 miles in my mid 60’s not having been on a bike probably in 20 years. He reassured me that the ride was flat and there were many stops to view the architecture of the beautiful homes in the area. I would highly recommend this bike tour. Also Big Wheel Tours was courteous and helpful with our bike rentals.

We had an excellent time on this tour led by Brennan. He was extremely knowledgeable about the architecture and history of the city. The tour was very interesting and fun. Brennan provided lots of tidbits of trivia and history. He went at a good pace and gave us great context for what we were seeing. I would highly recommend this tour. In addition the Big Wheel Tours bicycle rental people were very nice and easy to deal with.
