Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park
Your guide would take you to see the beautiful iconic buttes, spires and mesas that have made Monument Valley famous on part of the 17 mile loop drive. We would then go to the back country restricted areas of the Tribal Park to stand beneath the natural arches, amp theaters and get right up close to the Anasazi petroglyphs. Our guides are so kind and would explain the traditional meanings of each location, history, and culture while answering any question that you might think of. Navajo Spirit Tours does not shy away from some of the spiritual topics that you might not hear about on a regular day. We do try our best in the short amount of time that we have with each of our guests to teach as much as we can while you are here. We do look forward to meeting you!

Monument Valley is a beautiful site all on its own, but when you are shown it through the eyes of a Navajo guide, it has a whole new meaning. Our guide was knowledgeable, pleasant, and told the most interesting historical local stories. He even played the flute while we were relaxing under a dome. It was truly a magical experience we won’t soon forget.

This tour was excellent. I would highly recommend it. Larsen, our tour guide was the best. We learned so much about the environment, the land and the Navajo culture I don't recommend this tour without a Navajo guide.

We did the 3 hour Monument Valley tour in the am and the 3 hour Mystery Valley tour on the pm in one day. We also did the Teardrop Arch tour at sunset. For these trips we had Sean as our driver and guide. He was great. Very knowledgeable and keen to answer our myriad of questions on the Valley and cultures that inhabited them. He made the trip most memorable. We had an open air truck for the tours, which gave us good views as we drove around. The views in Monument Valley were spectacular and the off road part showed us some interesting rock formations and caves. However, some of the best views of the famous rock formations were on the other two tours we did. Mystery Valley and Teardrop Arch took us to interesting rock formations and several canyon cave dwellings with ancient hieroglyph and rock painting. We saw some magnificent arches with ‘windows’ to the sky. Plus magnificent views across the valley to the iconic rock formations Monument Valley is known for. This tour group is a family run affair and I thank them for some wonderful experiences on their tours. Especially Sean our guide.
