Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park
Your guide would take you to see the beautiful iconic buttes, spires and mesas that have made Monument Valley famous on part of the 17 mile loop drive. We would then go to the back country restricted areas of the Tribal Park to stand beneath the natural arches, amp theaters and get right up close to the Anasazi petroglyphs. Our guides are so kind and would explain the traditional meanings of each location, history, and culture while answering any question that you might think of. Navajo Spirit Tours does not shy away from some of the spiritual topics that you might not hear about on a regular day. We do try our best in the short amount of time that we have with each of our guests to teach as much as we can while you are here. We do look forward to meeting you!

Our guide Don was an incredible storyteller and showed us the valley with authentic pride. Adventure even better than we imagined. 3 hours of wonderful sites and learning Navajo culture. Highly recommend!

I signed up for the NAVAJO SPIRIT TOURS photography package. This was supposed to last 2 hours but our tour guide Larsen was exceptional and it lasted 3 hours. He showed a real interest in photography and made sure we got killer shots. I was very impressed with his photography knowledge and composition skills. I was very pleased with the experience and our photography shots and wish we could have spent all day with him. I highly recommend Navajo Spirit Tours and ask for Larsen, he was amazing.

While planning our Arizona trip (when the Navajo Nation was still shut down to tourism), I heavily considered skipping Monument Valley altogether. But a few months later, after taking a tour of the backcountry with our amazing guide, Don, I can't believe I ever had second thoughts about visiting this magical place. Upon returning to the welcome center, all of us felt like professionally trained photographers, historians, and most of all, family -- part of the "Dine'," connected to the sublime scenery that surrounded us in every direction, as well as the kindhearted people who inhabit it. This, all thanks to one of the most knowledgeable and stimulating minds I have ever encountered, in Don.
