Na Pali Snorkel Adventure

Overview
Are you looking for a Napali Coast sightseeing and snorkeling adventure departing from Hanalei Bay? Look no further! We’re the only company on Kauai permitted to operate raft boat tours from Kauai’s iconic north shore and we’d be stoked to take you out on a wet and wild ocean excursion. Within minutes of departing, we’ll be into the heart and soul of the sacred, historical, and stunning Napali Coast, keeping our eyes peeled for Hawaiian spinner dolphins, turtles, and sea birds. With forward-facing seating, bathrooms, and a fresh-water shower, our vessels offer more creature comfort than many other raft-style boats. We’ll learn about the coast, swim, snorkel, relax, eat sandwiches, and just generally bask in the glory of the Napali Coast. Join us on this convenient four-hour ocean excursion that wastes no time and packs maximum action into every moment.

What To Expect
1
Holo Holo Charters
Tour Kauai’s Na Pali Coast aboard a High Speed Raft. The adventure begins when you leave from the shore of scenic Hanalei Bay and we shuttle you by dinghy to your rigid hull inflatable raft which is anchored just offshore. There, you’ll do a “dry-transfer”, stow your gear, grab a seat and get ready for the experience of a lifetime.
2
Hanalei Bay
Minutes after leaving the bay, the spectacular Na Pali Coast comes into view and you see why its dramatic cliffs and beaches have enchanted painters, authors and travelers for centuries… and we’re just getting started!
3
Na Pali Coast
As we travel down the coast, your crew and Captain entertain your imagination with stories of the Hawaiians who once made this coast their home. From sea-level you really get a feel for the tremendous scale of Na Pali. Keep an eye out for dolphins, turtles and seabirds which are often seen on our tours. Depending on the ocean conditions the day of your raft tour, we’ll stop and snorkel at one of several protected and shallow areas which will be teeming with tropical fish. Fins, goggles (with corrective lenses if you need them), snorkels, and flotation aids are all provided. If you’re new to snorkeling, our crew will be on-hand to provide instruction and pointers so you can get the most from your adventure. After you have a chance to snorkel and relax on the Na Pali Coast, we’ll serve a tasty sandwich lunch before we head back up the coast to Hanalei Bay. Expect to get wet and bring a lightweight jacket.

Great boat tour with stunning views of the Na Pali coast. Fun to see lots of spinner dolphins up close - would have been happy to stay with them longer and take more pictures! Buzzed into a few caves, one through a waterfall (could have skipped this 😏) which was neat. Unfortunately, snorkeling at Tunnels beach was disappointing. Not “teaming with tropical fish” as advertised but did see one turtle.

Thank you for joining us and for sharing your review! We are glad to hear that you enjoyed most of your tour, and are sorry to hear that the fish didn't show up for their appointment at Tunnels. Mahalo and Aloha

We went out with Captain Aaron and KC on a morning trip on a RIB. What a fantastic day! They were extremely professional and also fun. We got to see a pod of spinner dolphins- they came right up to the boat- as well as several turtles. We were also able to go into a cave (and under a waterfall!) and go all the way down the NaPali coast, staying really close to the shoreline for amazing views. At the end, we stopped at a great snorkeling spot off of Tunnels beach and snorkeled with turtles and fish on a beautiful reef. We have done a different Na Pali Coast tour before but this one was by far the best. So authentic, so close to the coast and the water. A really fun adventure that we will definitely do again!

Oniy review excellent experiences—thanks to Aaron, Casey, Kama, Jess for taking us out on a day so gray and rainy we assumed the tour was cancelled and only showed up to get our money back. The boat never strayed far from the foamy backwash near the Napali rocks and the cave entries were awesome particularly the shower under a waterfall and especially the green turtle who followed alongside us. Very grateful for this experience of what the Hawaiians know about taking small craft to sea. And the glimpses from staff of their deeper understandings of history, geology, archeology and the rest of Kauai’s underlying story.
