Fantastic company and fantastic concept. Bought 2 dys online which entitled us to red line blue line yellow brown night tour and liberty cruise. Great value for money and wish I'd done it sooner. It gets you around the vastness that is nyc with ease. You can jump on n off the red line to the blue, (with the tickets we had) which is a god send. Saved a fortune on taxis/subway and shanks pony. The brooklyn tour was an absolute highlight and a massive shout out to my cousin ray as the guide. Knowledgable and a native he was fab!! And put up with me which is a skill in itself 😂 I would highly recommend buying the tour for the whole time you're there. Download the app and get a paper leaflet map and off you go. Fantastic company with some great staff too.

Unfortunately this was a complete waste of time and money. We were frustrated from the very beginning on the first morning. We got up excited and early, and went to the closest drop off/pick up location stop 15 on the red line. We were there 30 min early for the first scheduled pick up time, at 9:55am in front of Danielle’s Trattoria Restaurant. At around 10:10 we watched our bus drive right by our stop without stopping for us. It would not have mattered because after they passed us... we decided to walk the 5 blocks to another stop, and was told that the reservation/ bar codes we were sent through e-mail would not work to get on the bus. We were told that we would have to walk yet another 5 blocks to Madam Tussauds location to go and get other vouchers to get on the busses. Once we got these, we had to walk yet another 3 blocks to get on the bus. When we got there... we had to wait for 3 bus rotations before we finally got on.. and we were on the lower level. This was not the last of our frustrations. That first afternoon when we were trying to catch a bus back from Lower Manhattan, we used the Big Bus app. to track the busses, and were shocked to see that all the busses were all clumped together at both ends of their “Red” route. They said that busses would come every 15-20 min. We were waiting over 30 min and based on how quickly the busses were traveling on the app. We knew that they were going to be even longer before they would have picked us up. I was so frustrated I took screen shots showing all the busses clumped up! We ended up using Uber to get to our hotel at that time. The frequency of the busses frustrated us so much that we ended up also Ubering to Empire State Building vs trying to use the on and off option for the busses. We did get to use our tickets for the Statue of Liberty, and the Empire State Building but we found out we gained nothing getting them in a package... could have just as easily purchased tickets on site. We were so unhappy that we decided to not even try and take advantage of the night ride, we also paid for with our package purchase. There were at least two other bus services working in the area and it seemed that they had at least double the number of busses operating in the area. We really were excited when we initially made our purchase, which was over $400 for our family of 4. Based on our experiences though... we could not be more unhappy about the entire process, or our visit to NY since the whole trip revolved around the package, tickets, and the transportation they were supposed to have provided. I would seriously reevaluate any thought of going with this organization based on our experiences.

Good Afternoon Kristin R, Thank you for taking the time to feedback our services. Please know timing on our brochures are estimates, buses rotate every 20-25 minutes, keeping in mind traffic, which unpredictable and beyond our control. We do our best to maneuver around these delays and give our customers the best sightseeing experience possible. We apologize for the poor customer service, for the passengers convenience, they are to simply present the voucher at any one of our stops. If there is not a Big Bus agent located at the stop you choose to board, you will still be permitted to board and have your voucher scanned at the next stop with an agent. The exception is if you purchase a “Big Pass” ticket that comes with attractions. In regards to our route and the competitor, we cannot speak for the competition, as we follow the routes set upon us by the Dept. of Transportation. With that being said, please send us a copy of your ticket, [email protected], so we may further investigate this incident and determine the cause for the major delays you've experienced. We sincerely apologize we were unable to surpass your expectations on this visit and we hope the rest of your trip was a pleasant one. Kind Regards, BBTNY
