Literally the worst Tourist experience in have had in all my years coming to NY. The last bus I used to go uptown was mechanically malfunctioning and would jerk suddenly like it was in an accident every time the bus driver struggled to put in the correct gear. The inside had no functioning aircondition unit and the driver was crass and rude and shouted at visitors, even when they did not understand where they could not get on or off. The staff that sell the tickets are like vultures and once you buy they dont care to assist. I would never recommend this service to any visitor. Better to use the local buses and lyft or uber to get to your tour locations. While I understand the peak time is summer the sellers never advise people there will be up to a hour wait to even board the buses. So older people and kids are stuck in lines with sweltering heat. If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible terrible terrible.....

We used this company last week. Avoid!!! Dirty buses; no aircon; drivers are rude; the guys that hound you to by the tickets tell lies and scam you. We were sold two tours for $65 each - uptown and downtown. We asked numerous times if there was a limit on the time that they stopped in case we didn't have enough time for both. The sales guy lied and said they were running until late evening. We arrived back to take the uptown tour but it had finished at 4:00pm. We went to the office - the lady said she could not help. We emailed the headquarters who offered us tickets for another day - hello??? Like when? We were only in NY for a few days. Our driver often stopped for long periods of time so the tour we took took so much longer. You would never have time to get off and see anything or you'd not complete one tour never mind two. Total scam run by rude people who do not know fact from fiction.

It was okay. We bought the 5 day pass and I don’t think it was worth it. It’s the way of the world these days but I really do miss the live tour guide. So much better than listening and not even being sure of what building they are talking about or sometimes even being past the building by the time it’s playing. The repeated playlist is tiresome and includes the national anthem which is dumb because a person should be standing when they play the national anthem and you can’t stand on the bus. Got a better tour from one of our cab drivers. More detailed information and knew which buildings he was talking about. Save your money and take the regular bus. Also soo tired of Tip View people jamming maps in front of our faces to buy the tour. Big turn off!!!
