This “tour” was SO BAD, I’d give it less less than one star if I could. The buses were packed (it was not even a holiday), the top of the bus was packed all of the time which would be fine except that the lower level windows are covered by film so you can’t even see out of them, there is barely any information provided as you drive around (why are you telling me about the Kmart?), and the recording repeats itself or cuts out entirely as you drive past major landmarks. Having to wait an hour (or more!) because the bus is too full to take anymore passengers is insane! This many years into Covid, I can’t accept anymore excuses from companies that are giving shoddy service. Especially since so many others have figured it out. Top View is such an example of getting what you pay for. Skip this nonsense or pay the extra money for Big Bus.

Sold as buses running every 15 minutes. This IS NOT the case as we waited well over an hour for buses at SEVERAL “hop on” points. Not great when you have limited time in NYC and have made reservations for other activities. Of note is the fact that the river cruise departure point is approx 45 minute stroll from nearest bus stop. As this is pre booked, you need to take the poor availability of buses into consideration or you may find yourself running! Drivers are unhelpful & rude with an insufficient supply of buses (with those that are operating having seen better days). In summary you may find it quicker and more pleasant experience to walk; It’s certainly cheaper!!

Bought a ticket from the street vendor. He said the tour was $79, he showed me it on the key pad. Then without me seeing he actually entered in an extra $22 which i didn't find out until I saw my credit card transaction. The commentary was rudimentary, not very interesting. We got the cruise. They overfilled the boat to unsafe levels, people crammed in, standing over the edge of the boat. The bus advertised free wifi there is none at all. It's a scam.
