I always wanted to be a tourist in NYC. It is such a busy city and having a well planned guided tour is quite important. I was sceptical at first seeing mixed reviews but most of the negative things I read seemed like typical NYC (it was not my first time in New York). I was more focused on seeing the Statue of Liberty,Times Square and Rockefeller centre. It was a great bargain so i really didn't mind a little inconvenience. The customer service was good and I got a lot of memorable pictures. Depending on the time of the day, the cruise could be shorter than advertised. Word of advise, plan ahead with the times. The hop on/hop off downtown tour was the most stressful bit for me, there are a lot of people on these tours and its better to go early rather than later schedules. They get overbooked and spillovers are common. It was truly an authentic New York experience and the guides were professional.

The cruise is 45 mins not 2hrs beware of this and the boat is an old 2tier boat not as shown on the photos Also they advertised bronx tour this only runs at 9am so we missed that. Brooklyn tour only at 10am. We did the red line tour which was basically all the places we had already been to previously so we were disappointed We booked it online but when we tried to ask the staff in the streets where the bus stops were they weren’t interested Unless they think they will get money from you they aren’t interested in you. The onboard information didn’t work we kept having to change seats They also advertise 2 hours free biking in Central Park!!! You have to book the bikes first to get extra 2 hours which no one would ever need Disappointed

Our first day in New York, we stepped out of our hotel and walked to the top of our street. There was 4 street vendors, one was Topview, his name was Jamal Mohammed. He sold us a 72 HR bus ticket x 4 which included a Statue of Liberty boat trip, entry to a museum, a night trip Central Park bikes and much more. We paid our money and went back to the hotel to get more money. Whilst in the hotel we noticed a message to guest warning not to buy bus tickets for the Hop on Hop off. We felt a little deflated, we looked at their trip and price which was treble the price. I can honestly say now that I have completed my trip and thoroughly enjoyed travelling with Topview, we as a family are so pleased of our choice and meeting Jamal. Another member of the Topview staff included a young woman who was slender with a black baseball cap, black hair with orange dip at the ends and a small rucksack. She had everyone in an orderly fashion queueing, she was the only person I had experienced explaining and I quote "For the Bronx trip the queue is here, Uptown trip, the queue starts here and for the downtown, your queue is over there". She then repeated it and asked if anyone had a question, no one did. She then ensured if you was in front, then you got on the bus first and so on. Topview I hope should thank their vendors/sellers because they sell a fantastic product and ensure the customers are safe and get the trip they want. Thank you Topview and staff for a fantastic 3 days non stop(it did stop in the evening) tour of New York.
