Was not allowed on two buses in a row, as seats were not available. Asked to leave one bus, so another bus could be used instead. Rude drivers. Unreliable service. Should have gone with Greyline or Big Bus. Will know better next time. Wasted over $100 dollars. Finally took a cab after walking 20 blocks to next route.

If I could rate them a zero I would. They sold me tickets for the wrong tour on my last day in New York on 4-13-2019. I was unable to board any of their buses and wasted half my day standing in line trying to get my issue resolved with one of their street supervisors. I ended up having to walk to their head quarters which was about a mile away. Where I had to request a refund in writing and wait 72 hours for a reply. 72 hours exactly later, they emailed me rejecting my refund request when it was their mistake by selling me the wrong tickets in the first place and wasting my day. Their customer service sucks and they don't care because they get so many people taking their buses that they don't believe in customer service, but really need to work on it. The girl who sold me the wrong tickets may have been new and tried her best to resolve but it was too late, my flight was going to leave in 3 hours at this point. USE GRAYLINE i had a better experience with them.

Hustlers everywhere selling tickets - offer great deals compared to other Hop On Hop Off buses. They don't tell you the lines are extra long waiting for buses and you can walk between stops in way less time. Some tickets offer the Statue of Liberty Cruise included; made a reservation; had to take subway to get there on time. Waited to board; doubled booked number boat would hold and offered to add another cruise 1 1/2 hour later. Who wants to waste 1 1/2 hour waiting for something that still be overbooked. We gave up and took the free Staten Island Shuttle and absolutely loved it. Wish we had just walked or used subway then free shuttle from the get go.

Dear guest, Thank you for your feedback, while we understand your frustration, we do list reservation as mandatory when booking the Liberty Cruise in order to guarantee tours are not overbooked. Guests who do not have a valid reservation are not guaranteed access to a specific departure if we have reached capacity. The Staten Island Ferry is not a guided tour, nor does it offer up-close views of the Statue of Liberty. Our experiences are sightseeing tours and not a strict form of transportation.
