I got a good deal on an uptown tour late one afternoon. Sine it was hop on hop off, I got off at the Museum of Natural History and toured it until it closed at 5 p.m. Went across the street to pick up the rest of the tour via the bus only to notice that they had stopped running that way. I had to catch a cab back to my hotel. I saw the same street agents back where we got on the bus. I explained what happened and how we had to catch that cab back. Jesse and his crew recognized us. They didn't mind letting us get in line for the night tour which should have been an additional fee because it was a different tour. Jesse assured us that we will be good...and delivered on his promise.

we were 4 adults (among them were 2 65+ elders) + 2 kids. considering the fact elders could not walk long distance, the package is worth for sightseeing on the go. were able to cover downtown tour, night tour and Liberty cruise in 8hrs!!!, even though missed uptown and other tours it is worth package.

1st note is that there are literally DOZENS if not hundreds of folks on the street selling these tours. The overwhelming # of sales people made me quite reluctant to do this...But I was wrong. The price we paid was good. ($59 per person for 48 hour access to all TopView Bus tours + a ferry ride around Ellis island and the Statue of Liberty + access to a museum and breakfast at the museum. (We didn't take advantage of the museum or the breakfast). You can get in/get off as much as you want during the duration of your ticket. You are supplied ear buds so you can hear the description of where you are and what you are seeing. The only thing that keeps me from giving this review 5 Stars is that the neglected to tell us (and practically everyone else) that for the ferry tour, you have to go on line and reserve your spot. It is in the small type on your receipt, but most folks don't read that. There were a NUMBER of disgruntled people at the ferry when they showed up and couldn't get on the ferry. We worked around it and made the next ferry, but it was an inconvenience. I'd still highly recommend this. Saves your feet a LOT of walking and you can see practically the entire city at a reasonable cost.
