This is a fun-filled interactive walking tour of Greenwich Village's Italian neighborhood. See St. Anthony's Church, Raffetto's Pasta and then stroll MacDougal Street's Caffe Reggio. This 2+hour tour is led by local, licensed NYC tour guide, Greg Marro, with Italian family roots in the neighborhood since 1884. St. Anthony of Padua

St Anthony of Padua is the first church built in the Americas for Italian Catholics. We will see the church's Romanesque interior complete with magnificent marble altar and Corinthian columns.

Father Demo Square

This quaint square's vista of the church's bell tower juxtaposed with the fountain, gives tourists a look into Italian American of this neighborhood.

Our Lady of Pompeii

See this gorgeous Italianate 1892 Church, the only NYC Roman Catholic Church with weekly Sunday Mass in four languages: English, Italian, Portugese and Tagalog/Phillipino.

I loved EVERYTHING about this tour. Greg has the PERFECT personality for this business and our whole group felt welcomed and truly enjoyed the experience. The history was excellent , the food selection was incredible, and the pace was just perfect. If you’re a “review reader” stop reading and book this tour because you won’t be disappointed!!! Best tour! Best tour guide! What a wonderful day we had with Greg. We experienced the best of Greenwich village.... best stories, best food, incredible places that have been staples in the neighborhood for 100 years. Amazing food, wonderful places where the owners invited us back with a huge smile. I would give this 20 stars if I could. Greg’s knowledge & experience was super impressive & he’s a super fun guy too! Best tour we have ever had the pleasure of being on.

My husband and I toured with Greg four years ago and came back to do it again with our kids ages 11 and 9. Our kids enjoyed the tour immensely and there were no "I'm tired or I'm bored" comments so that says a lot! The weather was iffy and we almost canceled but we are so glad we didn't! It was a great intro for the kids into what this area has to offer! It's always a risk to do these things with kids and Greg was great with them and kept them entertained, chose kid-friendly foods to eat, and was very open to anything we wanted to try. Honestly felt like we were spending a few hours with "Uncle Greg." We are planning a trip to Chicago next and when we asked our kids if they want to do a food tour there, they said no because Greg will not be there! We are looking forward to the next time we can do this again! Thank You so much!
