This is a fun-filled interactive walking tour of Greenwich Village's Italian neighborhood. See St. Anthony's Church, Raffetto's Pasta and then stroll MacDougal Street's Caffe Reggio. This 2+hour tour is led by local, licensed NYC tour guide, Greg Marro, with Italian family roots in the neighborhood since 1884. St. Anthony of Padua

St Anthony of Padua is the first church built in the Americas for Italian Catholics. We will see the church's Romanesque interior complete with magnificent marble altar and Corinthian columns.

Father Demo Square

This quaint square's vista of the church's bell tower juxtaposed with the fountain, gives tourists a look into Italian American of this neighborhood.

Our Lady of Pompeii

See this gorgeous Italianate 1892 Church, the only NYC Roman Catholic Church with weekly Sunday Mass in four languages: English, Italian, Portugese and Tagalog/Phillipino.

Greg is highly knowledgeable about the amazing independent delis and shops around the Greenwich Village and Soho areas of New York, delivering local history as well as tasty bites to his tour guests. We learnt so much and returned to several of the food haunts later in the holiday as his recommendations were SO good. To foodie families everywhere, especially those with adult children who love their nosh - do not miss this tour!
