This 2+hour tour is led by local, licensed NYC tour guide, Greg Marro, with Italian family roots in the neighborhood since 1884. St. Anthony of Padua

St Anthony of Padua is the first church built in the Americas for Italian Catholics. We will see the church's Romanesque interior complete with magnificent marble altar and Corinthian columns.

Father Demo Square

This quaint square's vista of the church's bell tower juxtaposed with the fountain, gives tourists a look into Italian American of this neighborhood.

Our Lady of Pompeii

See this gorgeous Italianate 1892 Church, the only NYC Roman Catholic Church with weekly Sunday Mass in four languages: English, Italian, Portugese and Tagalog/Phillipino.

Great tour guide and great experience! Lived in NYC my whole life and learned so much in the short tour time. Can’t say enough good things! If you’re not experiencing Greenwich Village w this Italian food tour - you are missing out!

This tour is not only about food but a dash of history as well. I left this tour craving more. Greg is knowledgeable and passionate about his tour he gives. The food portion sizes are just the right amount.

The history (food, community and personal) was fascinating. Greg was very delightful, affable and engaging with all persons on the tour. From 11 yrs old to +60. He made the tour feel warm and family-like. All three elements combined to make for a wonderful, inviting and fun learning experience.
