This is a fun-filled interactive walking tour of Greenwich Village's Italian neighborhood. See St. Anthony's Church, Raffetto's Pasta and then stroll MacDougal Street's Caffe Reggio. This 2+hour tour is led by local, licensed NYC tour guide, Greg Marro, with Italian family roots in the neighborhood since 1884. Your food tour guide gives you an insider's perspective into local history with music, serenades and family tales. Samples and sights subject to change.

St. Anthony of Padua

St Anthony of Padua is the first church built in the Americas for Italian Catholics. We will see the church's Romanesque interior complete with magnificent marble altar and Corinthian columns.

Father Demo Square

This quaint square's vista of the church's bell tower juxtaposed with the fountain, gives tourists a look into Italian American of this neighborhood.

Our Lady of Pompeii

See this gorgeous Italianate 1892 Church, the only NYC Roman Catholic Church with weekly Sunday Mass in four languages: English, Italian, Portugese and Tagalog/Phillipino.

AMAZING! Went for my dad's birthday and Greg was amazing!! He showed us plenty of amazing food places. Some beautiful hidden gems! Definitely worth it!

My favorite part of the tour was not just all the amazing food samples but Greg himself. Greg's humor, warmth and engaging personality pull you in right from the start. His knowledge of the various sights (including parks, churches, traditional food establishments ) right in Greenwich Village mixed in with the warm relationships he has established in this community is unforgettable and a true treat to experience! In addition, Greg's sharing of his personal stories and his own family history within the neighborhood only adds to the wealth and richness of this tour. The food samples were each so delicious . And filling! Yum. This is a gem of a tour. If you are in NYC, do not miss this one. You will not be disappointed
