Join us every weekend for the Old Town Literary Walking Tour, a stroll through downtown Key West, illuminating stories of writers that have called our island home. Inspired by David A. Kaufelt’s original literary walking tour, our new tour features the former homes and favorite haunts of writers, including Tennessee Williams, Shel Silverstein, Elizabeth Bishop, and Robert Frost, and highlights tales of our lesser-known local talent.

We enjoyed walking around Key West on a lovely balmy evening, listening to our personable and knowledgeable guide Sarah tell us about the lives of writers associated with the island. Lots of wonderful stories and readings from their works. We recommend taking this tour to appreciate another facet of and time in the life of Key West.
