Join us every weekend for the Old Town Literary Walking Tour, a stroll through downtown Key West, illuminating stories of writers that have called our island home. Inspired by David A. Kaufelt’s original literary walking tour, our new tour features the former homes and favorite haunts of writers, including Tennessee Williams, Shel Silverstein, Elizabeth Bishop, and Robert Frost, and highlights tales of our lesser-known local talent.

Scott was a great tour guide. He knew a lot about all the Key West authors and also had some personal stories. We were a group of six, which made it easy to ask questions. We walked less than a mile, which was just right. Scott also gave us info about the KW Literary Seminar held every January in KW! I recommend it to all book lovers!

The tour is superb, a 90 minute immersion in literary Key West as well as architecture and anecdote. Scott’s knowledge and enthusiasm for Key West will put a spring in your step.
